New Blog Up And Running!

My new blog is now up and running. I'm still working on the design of the new site so that will come later. But this will be my last post to Blogger.com.

I don't know how long this blogger account will remain since it will no longer be active, but luckily, I was able to import EVERYTHING into my new blog so it's all still there.

Ducks 2 - Thrashers 1

Last night I went to the Thrashers game with my buddy from work, Blanche. Boy did we have a blast! And man, there were some HOT boys! Unfortunately, the Thrashers lost to the Anaheim Ducks. But they played a great game.




Then after the game we went over to CNN Center and had dinner. The Christmas decorations were nice.



On the way back to the car we walked through Centennial Park to look at the decorations there as well. They were beautiful!



All and all we had a great evening. If you get the chance to go see a Thrashers game, you should. It is a great experience!

Well, for me anyway. I've never been featured on another Web site before! Last Friday I met Chris from My Daily Education, a fun and informative blog "uncovering queer Atlanta." It's fun to meet people in person that you feel like you already know! So cheers to Chris, and go pay him a visit!!

Boy do I feel old. I received an announcement the other day that my cousin was graduating from college. And today her mother sent me pictures from the graduation... what a beautiful young woman. Seems like just yesterday she was still in diapers.

I am the only "me" I've got. I am unique. There are two major parts of "me." There is the inside "me" and the outside "me."

The outside "me" is what you see. The way I act, the image I portray, the way I look and the things I do. The outside "me" is very important. It is my messenger to the world and much of my outside is what communicates with you. I value what I have done, the way I look, and what I share with you.

The inside "me" knows all my feelings, my secret ideas, and my hopes and dreams. Sometimes I let you know a little bit about the inside "me" and sometimes it is a very private part of myself.

Even though there are an enormous number of people in this world, no one is exactly like "me." I take full responsibility for "me" and the more I learn about myself, the more responsibility I am going to take. You see, my "me" is my responsibility.

As I know myself more and more I find out that I am an OK person.

I've done some good things in life because I am a good person.

I have accomplished some things in my life because I am a competent person.

I know some special people because I am worth knowing.

I celebrate the many things I have done for myself.

I've also made some mistakes. I can learn from them.

I have also known some people who did not appreciate me. I do not need to keep these people in my life. I've wasted some precious time. I can make some new choices now.

As long as I can see, hear, feel, think, change, grow and behave, I have great possibility.

I'm going to take these risks and those possibilities, and I am going to grow and love and be and celebrate..............................I am worth it.

"WOW" Music Friday #1: Daughtry

Well, I think I've decided what to do for my Theme Day. So here it is. The premier of "WOW" Music Friday. And let's start it off with a BANG!

Not since Kelly Clarkson have I really appreciated any of the contestants from American Idol. Kelly is, of course, "the" American Idol, hands down.

But if you haven't yet, you MUST check out the new album Daughtry from last seasons American Idol (should have been winner) Chris Daughtry and his new band. WOW! I got this album last night and have not been able to turn it off today. Not only is he HOT, his vocals are AMAZING! Check this album out as soon as you can!
